Stop calling it an MMO.

It is NOT an MMO. MO, yes. Not massively, though. To even call it an MMO is just flat incorrect. Otherwise, you would be playing with 100s or 1000s of other people, together. Examples: WoW, UO, AO, Runescape, Everquest, LotRO, etc. etc. You
know, all MMO(rpg)s.

The only thing I will comment to is that Bungie themselves never used the term "MMO". They said shared world shooter. Only the players have been calling it an MMO.

Ehh, may be incorrect in the true sense but it isn't new thread worthy!

 

It may not be massive but if you go into a mission on earth or the moon or something like that there's a few people that you see around exploring which you wouldn't normally see in a typical FPS. So i'd call it a MMO

 

Comparing PC games to console games is the most IGNORANT thing a gamer could ever do.

 

BF3 and 4 got 64 players in one map,nobody call it MMO.

It's a MO without "Massively"......

Even,share world aspect/in game communications is badly made,players still needs to go to a forum to find help and team mates.....

MMO = Mini Multiplayer online so it is an MMO

 

Thanks for the update but I realized that when I played the beta. But I still like playing the game and it will be my primary game to play for a while. I thought after you hit 20 you couldn't level up anymore. But I am seeing people up to level 25.

 

To level up further you need to find armor with light modifiers, the higher the light the higher your level.

 

I just call it a "FPS" game. With all of the people on the map and zero ways to actually communicate with them (not dancing), they might as well just not be there.

 

Without a decent in game chat function its not really a mmo imo. Shared online fps is more accurate.

 

MMO is false advertisement tho. You can't find a group without sending random invites. nonsense.
