Stop Auto Update of Game Pass Games

when a subscription expires it will either auto renew or just stop. If auto renew is disabled then the subcription will stop and any services related to it will stop, so in case of pc game pass all games that you were able to play due to the subscription will not be playable anymore, unless if you have the license for that game as in owning the game, since you have purchased it at some point.

I have the exact same issue - games stopped auto updating after the last firmware update to the console. Apps still update but games have to be manually updated.. getting very irritating

A game will start installing regardless if auto updates were enabled. You just have to go stop it, or don’t buy the game till you’re ready

on the pc game pass version i use it say's "check for updates" I've checked all dates of my games it has not changed the date of last update it only shows game install date. some go back to months or more on pc game pass.

my twin Xboxes get auto updates all the time correctly. the Xbox games pass on them is ok. which shows me there is a pc game pass failure to update problem.

To cancel auto-renewal you need to go too the xbox website then go too payment and billing find Xbox game pass then turn off auto renewal on the game pass

then it should cancel your auto renewal.
