Stolen Xbox

The other day I got my Xbox One stolen, does anyone know if there’s a feature on it that allows you to track it? Like if someone were to turn it on I could locate it like an IP address.

If your console was stolen you need to be more concerned than your “home” console.

The police will sort out recovering your stolen XBox.

Your insurance should sort out replacing your stolen XBox.

 

No. There isn't. You would need to file a police report (if you haven't already) and they would need to contact Microsoft to see if they can track it.

 

For privacy reasons (you could gift someone a console and then stalk them, or an innocent person could have bought the stolen console not knowing that the console was stolen), you yourself can't track the console.

However, if someone signs in with your account on that console, you could see that with the IP on
your accounts activity page.

But as the other person already said: Contact the police, tell them the serial number of your console, so they can also inform pawnshops to check for the serial number, so they don't buy stolen goods. Law enforcement could then get the console sign in information
from Microsoft. However, it's probably faster and easier to report the console as stolen to your insurance, in case you have one, and have them replace it.
