    Stolen Xbox One...


    Hello, so about 2 days ago on 6/3/16 my house was broken into and my xbox one was stolen from my living room along with basically everything I had for it. I realized the next day when I went onto my account on a friends xbox that someone had been using
    my account. Playing games that I do not own or would not play. I went onto the Microsoft website and changed some valuable information around so they couldn't screw me over any more. I was just curious if there was any way Microsoft could help out and make
    sure nobody else uses my account or even if they could help me find my xbox. Its one thing if it was stolen for money but now that I know that they are playing on it I am just so *** I want to do everything I can. Any kind of information would be helpful.

    P.S. I already tried finding my serial number but I can't find it any where. Stolen Xbox One... :(

    My Xbox One has been stolen. I have filed a police report and I was wondering if there is any information besides the serial number. my question is: is there a way for Microsoft to lock the stolen system out so it cant be used and possibly track the IP?

    My xbox one was stolen please help me locate it.

    Stolen Xbox One...

    All you need to do to prevent them using your account is to change your account password.

    After doing so the next time they try to login to it it will ask for the new password

    Sorry to hear it. What you can do is report the theft to the police and they can subpoena Microsoft for the IP of the console.

    As for finding the serial number of the console you can do so at the following link

    Odds are the police wont take the the time to track down a video game console though. I would cost them more to put man power in to find it then what its worth.

    Your best option would be to file an insurance claim eith your home owners insurance and theyd replace it. Would be the fastest option to get back to gaming anyway

    I feel like I've lost an appendage since my 250gig slim black xbox360 was stolen over a week ago.

    I am sorry that your Xbox got stolen, next time when you get a new one or hopefully the one that was stolen back maybe cover it up with a jumper or a blanket just to keep it hidden and away out of sight.
