Stolen Xbox One help

My xbox one console, along with its downloaded games and controller, was recently stolen yesterday morning while i was asleep nearly 6 feet away from my desk. They took my iphone 5s which i managed to track down using the find my iphone app, and the
person we got the phone back from said that he bought it off of a kid around 14 years old for $20 that morning around where i currently live. He mentioned that the kid went into an apartment complex down the street so i was wondering how could i ask xbox to
track down their IP address being that i have the box with the serial number on it and i know the thief stays in the area of where i stay. My family filed a police report and gave them the serial number and IMEI number so we are waiting for answers as of now.
Its crazy because there is a security camera literally facing our apartment which is right in front of the rental office yet they wont check the footage for some weird reason. I just want my xbox back which i got for my 16th birthday in march and spent hundreds
of dollars on games and subscriptions already. Is there a way to track their IP address myself? Any help would be welcome!

My Xbox One has been stolen. I have filed a police report and I was wondering if there is any information besides the serial number. my question is: is there a way for Microsoft to lock the stolen system out so it cant be used and possibly track the IP?

My xbox one was stolen please help me locate it.

You could call support and see if they can track the ip from the serial number but I don't know if they can do anything though. It doesn't hurt to try. Support can be reached at 1-800-469-9269. If they can't do anything then the only thing you can do is
hope the police track the person down and have them return your console to you. Hope this helps!

I already did What to do if your Xbox is stolen but I wanted you to track my xbox so I can talk to the police, because I already made a police report but it came to nothing
