Stolen xbox - need a # to call and cancel my account

Help - really , my xbox was just stolen and I can not find an actual # to call and cancel my account etc. , and maybe somhow find if it's traceable when it is booted up by the thief ! Thanks

Then if you have charges for an account hacked/stolen i can recommend you to contact xbox support to cancel your account.
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us they sure give the best option after cancel your account and other instructions.

Call with all your information (Name, Phone, Email, address...) given when create profile.

Gold subscription canceled on PayPal

So to cancel an xbox live account you need to do it with xbox live because that is who you have the billing agreement with not PayPal. To do this you sign into your account on xbox live select my account, the select my subscriptions then you will see the
option to cancel renewal. If that fails you need to call support and they will cancel it.

 

You need not necessarily cancel the account, what you could do is prevent it from being used on the new console.

There are some good steps to take here, especially step 3 should be looked into:

That will stop your profile from being usable on the console, as will changing the password (highly recommended).

Thanks all for the quick reply. My main concern is it was purchased with the 2 yr. contract of xbox live on it , and still has over a year on it, and I didn't want to incur charges for downloads, games etc. . I have been able to make the contacts and go
