    ***PLEASE HELP**** someone has changed my login details, email adddess and password, to my Xbox live account. How do I recover??? I can’t sign in to my gamer tag so have lost all progress

    I have not read anything reliable to indicate account information was stolen from Xbox Live. Those stolen accounts from Lulzsec have nothing to do with Live.

    hard and time-consuming. Just as an identify theft case (which this essentially is) cannot be worked through overnight, so too can hundreds of stolen Xbox LIVE accounts not be returned in a timely manner.

    Xbox live was not hacked. It is just that some people use the same email address and password for different websites. That is how the xbox live accounts are being stolen.
