I'm sorry you're having this issue and I'll do my best to help, as I understand your concerns about the privacy of your account and how annoying not being able to access it can be. Situations where our email account with personal information, contacts, messages and even our documents are really involved are a little more delicate.

It looks like the hacker hasn't changed his email yet, when using the password recovery link: https://account.live.com/pw. Is it possible to use the alternative e-mail, or phone that you have registered in the account?

If not, unfortunately, when the hacker manages to change the account's security information, the account is hardly recoverable. That's why it's very important to keep your security info up to date and use different passwords across all platforms.

I'm a user like you and there's not much I can do in the community as visibility is public. Contact MSA Support and see if you can follow the Account Takeover (ATO), investigation is done on a case-by-case basis.

The only way you have left is the account recovery process, which
Xbox Live Support can assist with. Unfortunately, you discovered one of the reasons why Xbox Live's Code of Conduct states that users should NEVER give their account details to anyone else for any reason.
