Stolen Identity used to open XBox All Access account

My wife's identity was stolen, and an Xbox All Access account was opened fraudulently using her name and personal information. We would like to talk to someone directly at Microsoft to close the account.

This account/credit it's not open trough Microsoft itself, but trough a credit company, most regions are with One Citizens, you have to contact them to solve the situation

My issue isn't even with them asking to use your Windows Live ID to confirm your identity.

It is that they access and use your account.

They claim not to retain the information relating to your WLID but they certainly do for long enough to spam your friends list. All it would take is one disgruntled staff member and they'd have a mass of stolen accounts.

If you called Xbox Support, why did they redirect you here? If your account has been stolen, phone support need to open an "unauthorized access" investigation into your stolen account. There is nothing anybody on these forums
can do for you. Call them back.

You would need to file a complaint on them via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate them. The enforcement team does not use the forums.
