Stolen game

I ordered the Xbox x with unknown player battleground in it. After setting up the Xbox, I noticed there was no download card for the game, or even 1 months trial for game pass which was also ment to be in it. I did notice after looking that the bottom
stickers off the box had been cut and half was missing of the sticky label. I have contacted Microsoft in the UK about the stolen items, an it seems they just ignoring it. Am I better to just take them to the small claims court to get what I am owed. Or should
I send the hole lot back for a full refund?

well i know my local game had their x1 stolen, console only, nothing else..... tho it has been bricked by microsoft

 

Being fingerprinted to trade in used games?

I have mixed feelings about this. I was arrested for medication withdrawals so my prints would be in a database no matter what. The problem I have is does that automatically mean my games are stolen? Who is to say that games are in fact stolen and how would
a fingerprint prove or disprove its stolen or un-stolen status.

 

Hi, your first port of call should be the retailer you purchased the Xbox from. This can be a tricky situation as you have no proof you didn't get the codes, for all the store and Microsoft know you could have sold them on or anything, on the reverse of
that the store and Microsoft can't be 100% certain you did get the codes so that leaves things up in the air a little.

As the security stickers on the box appear to have been tampered with it could well be someone opened the box and took the cards but again proving that will be difficult.

You should go to the retailer in this case since MS didn't sold you the console, but as said above, it would be difficult but at least you could try.

Got the Xbox from Microsoft store uk , phoned sales today and they hopefully will sort this matter out. Waiting to hear back off them

Most retailers will allow you to return the system to the store in a reasonable amount of time. If this is not an option contact Microsoft Customer Support.
