Stolen account

recently i noticed someone is on my account oOII TAHA IIOo and i no longer have any means of access to it - the email linked to it has been changed. About £120 has been used in transactions before i noticed and im still waiting on a repl from the escalation
team after six days...the gamerscore increased by 40k aswell overnight, can anyone help?

I was just wondering if anyone else has had their account stolen. I have a open ticket with Xbox Support. But I am looking for any other advice. I do not understand how the email on my sons account got changed and now we can not access it. Thanks in advance.

Bro, why would you put something like this up? There are already enough accounts being stolen on Xbox Live as it is. Why give a reason to add to it? Just think about if it was your account that someone did this with.

 

You would need to contact support for you region & ask to open an unautherised access case.

If you haven't already contact your bank etc. & cancel any credit/debit cards linked to that account.

 

I have done that but it's taking too long and support said they'd reply in 3-4 day its been 6, bank card is frozen now, only problem is getting my gamertag back and i dont know if it'd get banned for the fake gamerscore or if i could revert it back?

 

Have they actually told you they've opened an unautherised access case ?

I'd contact them again as it shouldn't take that long to block the account.

Unfortunately if the gamescore is modded on that account then it will be reset & you wouldn't be able to re earn any reset achievements on that account once you got it back.

 

Got it back now as you can see, Daft Badger you were correct except for the last sentence it seems.

 

The gamescore reset will be done separately.

As your profile does have modded achievements it will get reset eventually i'm afraid.

 

and there is no appeal for it the only way to get score back after a reset is to play games that you never played, and the only way to get the ones you lost back is to start a new account.

 

Nope, the escalation team let it slide although I don't want it to be boosted, I was told by xbox support its possible to revert it to 28000 my previous score since it wasn't me who did it I won't get penaltied

 

not true, only the PET can decide to reset a score or not reset it. if a score is boosted even if not by you it WILL be reset back to zero.

 

The escalation team have nothing whatsoever to do with xbox live enforcement & shouldn't of told you that.

I've only looked at GTA V on your games & it obviously has modded achievements on it so you will be getting a gamerscore reset at some point.
