    My xbox 360 was stolen from our house. Is there anyway to track the unit if someone tries using it?

    MY XBOX 360 WAS STOLEN AND I BEEN TRYING TO GET IT BACK FOR MONTHS THIS IS MY SECOND XBOX THAT WAS STOLEN.

    Call support in your area,they may have procedures to help.

    Call your local police department. It would also help if you knew the serial number. They'll be able to track it down if someone tries to sell it to a pawn shop or trades it into Gamestop.

    If the thief tries to use it online Microsoft can track it by ip address and pass over information to the police. They then can trace it to where it is. So hope the thief tries to sign in online and you catch him or her.

    Thanks! Law enforcement and Xbox were able to track the location of his stolen console. They recovered the majority of items that were stolen including his Xbox 360 :)
