    Stock headset


    So I got my Xbox One new. It's not a Day One, just a regular One. The headset that came with it is not being recognized when I am in a party. I can use it to open game chat and skype call, but when I am in a party, my headset isn't showing up. I can't
    even switch to party chat because my Xbox doesn't recognize that a headset is in. Any ideas why this might be?

    Best control/head set/racing wheel.

    Also, you could ring MightyApe and ask when the normal headset is coming back in stock if your wanting to pick it up as I'm sure they have stock arriving soon.

    My buddy and I both have it happen sometimes but it usually resolves it self. The xbox one party chat system is terrible compared to the 360 and is probably on a long list of bug Microsoft has yet to get around to. We tend to just use skype all the time
    anymore because of it.

    You could try turning the party to invite only then back to open to see if that will fix it, that fixes the issue where suddenly you cant hear the other person but not sure about your problem.

    Speaking for in the USA, I've seen it in stock at all of our major retailers, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Toys R Us. I'm not sure if they all ship up north to you, but your best bet might be to buy one online and have it shipped to you.
