still xbox in game mic not working at all

in party chat my mic works, but when i'm in game chat it doesn't work, i can hear teammates but i cant talk to them, by the way party chat works, just not in game, this is happening to all of my games. i have tried
many things, restarting my console, turning off and on, i just don't know what to do at this point can someone help? even getting a new mic on. my controller doesn't need updates either. to summarize, no form of in game mic works even though i'm not in party
chat, or game chat, i need help on this, party chat works but across all of my games in game chat will not work at all.

Hi there,

if you haven't yet, then please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:http://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

Also be sure to double check if you have muted yourself via a party, starting a new party should allow you to check that and unmute yourself in case that is the cause.

and also another thing about this absolutely NO form of in game chat works AT ALL across all of my games, this is very sad. hopefully there are some fixes

Its Just ordinary apple earphones that have a mic

I tried it with my bros controller it still didn't work

the earphones work with all of my other devices

it never worked

I went in settings and turned my mic on still didn't work

Im in Canada there is no gamestop

I tried 2 earphones with mics and 1 Bose headphones still didn't work
