    Not even sure if I'm posting this in the right place. I bought my XOne in mid July last year, and over the next month or two I started noticing that the console would not turn on like it was supposed to from time to time. I would have to manually adjust
    the port plug each time this happened. Over time it got worse and worse, to the point now it refuses to turn on completely 9 times out of 10 around mid to late September. I checked the troubleshooting guides, and because they all said that the orange light
    on the brick means nothing is wrong, it must have been the console. So with that, I contacted support and started a repair service, fronted the money for shipping, and sent both the console and the power supply, as I wasn't entirely convinced that it wasn't
    the cord causing problems, to the service center. Long story short, the console and power supply came back separate (2 weeks apart almost) with a letter saying that nothing was found to be wrong and that no work was done. Not only did I still have power issues,
    but they wiped my console as well. And since current updates require a power cycle.... you can see the problem there. I set up a second repair request, this time for the power supply alone, but unfortunately life happened and I was without expendable income
    for over a month, leading the order to be canceled, because i could not afford the cash to ship it again.

    Finally, in late December, I came out of the financial distress and was hopefully ready to play my Xbox again, so I contacted support yet again. I was told to ship it to an address and then to wait 10-14 days for information on what was going to happen.
    No ref number, no email, just the chat with this lady. I did as I was told and shipped the power supply off to the address provided to me and waited, paying for shipping a second time. I can confirm that it arrived on the 4th of January, 2017, but nothing
    since then. A week ago I reached out and spoke to someone who then told me the previous woman had in fact not started a claim and that my unit was not being serviced or looked into. I was given a ref number and told I would also get an email. This was on the
    15th. Nothing. On the 21st I reached out again and was told it was still being worked on. I'm at a loss on what to do. I can't imagine it's taking this long to figure out that the brick doesn't work and to just ship me a new one so that I can play my Xbox
    that has been sitting in my hutch collecting dust far longer than it was working brand new. Any ideas?

    So I got this polite response about still waiting for gears of war 2,3, and judgment free downloads by playing it on xboxlive gold before dec 31 (which I did ): We've passed your information along to the proper teams. They will investigate your eligibility
    for this offer and, if you qualify, you will receive an Xbox Live message with further details.

    soooo.... When should I expect an actual answer? This is why we bought an Xbox one, and now more than 2 months later, I still have no answers. This is not an answer. Someone please let me know who is making this decision and when. I met the requirements,
    and it's been longer than 6-8 weeks. I am now REALLY worried that I am getting ***, and that's crap. Gamer tag is . Would appreciate a timely, actual answer this time, or someone live to contact.
