Still waiting for refund...

I've been waiting 6 weeks for my xbox live gold refund and I've been told it'll only take 72 hours. I called support and told me to wait a little bit longer but that was 1 month ago. Support told me that my refund was confirmed and found on the system but
why am I still waiting this long???

Well depends where you live if you don't live in north america

Refunds are issued within 72 hours if its a credit card purchase

You can confirm the refund at commerce.Microsoft.com

If it is there then its a matter of your bank

However with banks refunds are handled differently

It can take up to 90 days for any credit to show up

 

On the overview it shows that they transferred in $67.19 to my visa on november 11. So if it doesn't show up 90 days from november 11 what should I do?

 

Call your bank

As shown on commerce.Microsoft.com it is ialready sent to your account either ms account or your credit card whichever you used

(Prepaid currency will always go back to Ms accounts)

Its now in the hands of your bank and how long they process international transactions

 

this is ridiculous how i'm still waiting for this refund. and my bank isn't helping me, how can i show them that microsoft actually sent me the refund?? the credit card i purchased my xbox gold used to show up in my purchase history but now it's not.. i
have no proof of showing my bank that there was an actual refund anymore

 

You dont you can give thwm the transaction number but thr bank wont do anything till they proccess it

For international transactions it does take time upto 90days

You will have to pay any pending charges as per your user aggreement with your bank
