Still unable to download original Star Wars battlefront 2 to my Xbox 360

It's been 3 weeks since I have had this problem.... I've tried everything

still ll I get the same results .

After 80% error says Star Wars battlefront 2 could not be downloaded

serious Microsoft this is so unprofessional

please fix the game or take it off the market

I understand you are having trouble getting your Star Wars Battlefront 2 Original Xbox game to download on an Xbox 360 through backwards compatibility is that correct? Have you tried

How to clear the cache on Xbox 360 or perhaps a different method of storage such as a USB drive or different hard drive. This could be an ongoing issue with backward compatible titles more information will be announced as it is made available.

I'm in the same boat as this guy. Bought a bunch of Star Wars Xbox Originals on my 360 but cannot play the majority of them. It has nothing to do with the system cache, Hard Drive, ISP, or anything on the customer's end. It's all on Microsoft.

It is because Microsoft has the games coded as "Xbox 360 Game", instead of "Xbox Originals Game".When a game labeled as "Xbox 360 Game" is digitally downloaded it always goes to 80% then immediately skips the last 20% of the download. On actual 360 games
this has no negative effect. But Xbox Original Games require the full 100% download, Being coded as a 360 game causes the last 20% of the download to be skipped. Resulting in a corrupted game file or a "cannot download game" message. The original KotOR game
is the only one I purchased that works because it is correctly coded as an "Xbox Originals Game".

It is absolutely not right for Microsoft to continue selling these games in the 360 Marketplace when they do not function properly on the system. If these game have been available since April 2018 and they still have not fixed the issue it's hard to believe
they even care enough to ever do it.

 

Talked with support for two days on this. Factory reset console, deleted user profiles, removed and reinstalled update,cleared cache, verified authentic MicrosofHDD, tried downloading to USB device, downloaded other games that were playable from market,
tested and verified Xbox original game fusion frenzy runs and was downloadable from disk, verified region match with live account. Been waiting 3 days for info from support after they contacted offline team.
