Still unable to connect to Xbox Live since Tuesday

have you tried to do a power cycle ? It's different than just turning off the device.

A power cycle works for a wide variety of issues, it's always a good option to try.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I meant to have said power cycle instead of shutting down. I have done this several times to no avail.

Additional information:

All other devices connect to my router. I am able to connect to Xbox Live on my tablet where I play Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

When I trry to connect it lists my router's name, but when I type in my password, it states "can not connect to network. Please check spelling of router name and or password. But as I stated everything else connects fine, so there is not an issue with the
router's name or password.

Please could someone give any guidance.

Same thing for me since tuesday on my Xbox 360. I also tried from my xbox series x, same result, unable to connect to live.

I got the message telling me that it will remove the update and will requie me to re-download it from xbl. When I selected yes, all of the type on the popup menu disappeared and just a white box remained on the screen for about 10 minutes. Just re-booted,
no profiles on the machine and now it's telling me I have no memory devices (I removed the USB drive prior to the lb rb x attempt). I had the memory device before I started this..what do I do now?
