Still says old account

I switched my Microsoft account yesterday, but my dashboard scroll (The thing where it flips through achievements, money in account, etc.) still says it's the old e-mail address/Microsoft account. Does it take a while to show the new one or something?

Lost account and inability to unlink

in short old xbox live account lost, still want same Facebook on new account, can't access old xbox account to unlink, and Facebook doesn't show my Facebook as connected but when I try connecting Facebook to new account it says it's logged in to the old
account.

 

Change child account into an adult account.

I had Xbox Live when I was 16. The hotmail account I registered with says I was born on April 28th 1993. That's clearly says I'm 18. I tried signing up for Netflex and it says I have to be 18 or older to use Netflex. It says I'm still under a Child Account.
Why do I still have a child account. That isn't right I pay for my xbox live so I can have all the features I can legally acces yet I still can't. Help me microsoft and turn my accont into an adult account please!

just to be sure, you used the steps here to move your XBL account to a different MS account? :

If so the you could try clearing the console cache and redownloading your profile to see if that will fix the issue. I've seen this issue happen before and as far as I know it does not cause an issue.

Let us know the results

 

Can you try the following:

Sign out of your Gamertag on the console by pressing "Guidebutton" then "X".

Then you should get the option to "Download Gamertag".

Enter your new Microsoft Account, and associated Password and let the console download your Gamertag Profile again.

If that didn't help, sign out again, go to the Settings hub on the far right, go to the system tile in the upper left, there to the Storage options, and in the Profile category find your Gamertag profile.

Tell the console to delete the profile.

BUT BEWARE!!!

The console will ask you, if stuff that is associated with this profile should also be deleted.

DO NOT LET THE CONSOLE DELETE THE ASSOCIATED CONTENT!!!

Let the console delete the PROFILE ONLY!!! (Otherwise all your Savegames are gone!)

After the console deleted your profile, go back to the drive selection, and highlight the hard drive.

Press Y and choose to clear the system cache.

Now press the Guide button again, and again "Download Profile".

Now the console should show your correct Microsoft Account email.
