    Still receive notifications for ex-friends xbox one


    Hi,

    I recently deleted some friends from my friendlist on xbox one, but I still receive notifications from them when they are online.

    What can I do to solve this problem. I'm no longer interested to know when they are online as they are no longer my friends.

    It seems friend notifications only work if your friends connect to xbox live on xbox one. They do not work if your friends sign in on xbox 360. This is disappointing. I dont receive notifications for xbox 360 friends and yes i have my preferences set to
    all friends.

    Reaper, I still strongly recommend checking the console version in Settings -> System -> Console info, as there have been reports of individuals with issues receiving friend notifications, even though they ARE on the correct version. (For example, the friend
    notifications supposedly default to "Favorites" instead of ALL friends, so if you haven't marked any friends as favorites, you won't receive any notifications, and it will appear not to be working.)

    Do you receive notifications for Achievements or for friends coming online? If you haven't already, make sure you have

    Pop-Up Notifications Enabled    .

    If they're enabled or you're still having troubles after being invited, let's try removing your profile from your Xbox One, and then add it back to see if it helps.
