Why would you let internal MS issues affect your purchasing? There marketing/communications and leadership really doesn't affect the consumer ( I personally could care less who's running MS).

As for the price issues, yet again.... $499 is a fair price for this console. You cant compare apples to oranges. If $100 is you make or break limit, then you probly shouldn't be purchasing any console, IMHO>

Pilot Hunt only scores for killing Pilots. It doesn't remove the AIbut killing them offers no score. The AI in general are there to help people get their Titans faster, and rank up their weapons. In Call of Duty it became tiresome trying to rank my rifle
while the other team lay on the ground camping corners. These grunts mean I can get the best gun upgrades without resorting to counter-camping.

You gotta change your interpretation of fun factor for this game. Instead of thinking of it like a six v six arena battle like CoD, try to imagine it as a large scale war where you and your team are like the hero characters leading a bunch of grunts. The
game takes on a much more fun, epic feel when you stomp the crap out of a squad of bots, turn and down an enemy Pilot and then up the ante into titan combat.

I for one, love the addition. It fills the battlefield in a way that doesn't make it feel cluttered while at the same time doesn't mean you have to be stressed out every second worrying about one of them killing you. This guy is definitely prepared for
titanfall.

I don't really consider the Xbox One big, it fits in my entertainment bench along side my reciever which is over double the size. And, the PS4 is not too small, i was surprised first time i saw it.

And the powerbrick is hidden behind my entertainment center and tv, neatly stripped with the other wires, can't be seen. And having more fans and vents is more noise in the machine. PS4 have had issue with overheating. To me it seems like the smartes and
easiest and cheapest (remember, all extra parts could equal more costs, even small increments) way to do it.

When it comes to price, i feel you get alot for the money. Getting the Xbox, the Kinect (wether you like it or not) and Titanfall (free), is a good deal. And hell, it will be cheaper as time goes by as it does with everything.

But price is something you need to see for yourself, not everybody has money to buy a console. And even if they do, they would like to buy some games too, so i understand wanting to wait and see.

But that is your decision to make, and we can't help you there.

I love my box, and i love Titanfall and all the other games i got for it. To me, money well spent (And i had to import mine since it isn't released in my country yet, so the cost was way higher)

 

I own both consoles and they are both collecting dust right now. Xbox One has better exclusive games at the moment. If you're more into multi-platform games, PS4 plays them at higher framerates and resolutions.

 

The One really isn't that big. Still fits in a normal entertainment center "standard" sized space with room to spare. That shouldn't be a deterrent. It's got a lot of room for airflow to keep it cool and silent.

Power brick I half agree with - but at the same time, if the power brick goes bad on the One you can get another one and not have to send your system in. I consider that a plus.

The price? $499 for the console, controller, headset, HDMI cable, and a flagship game is not really what I would call too much. If you priced the PS4 with the Eye you'd be within $30-40 of the One and in all honesty the Kinect provides a lot of useful functionality
beyond games.

It's not a good enough reason to buy a console over but the internal power supply is a good thing. it's just less wires to deal with it's more clean I hate clutter.

The Heat issue is not a problem. Last gen PS3 had a much lower failure rate and had internal power supply as long as you get the warn air out of a console the size isn't going to be a problem. Also the power supply does not get hot.

Sony knows how to make good hardware. They have much more experience in it, Microsoft is a software company.

 

Personally, if I had a giftcard that helped reduce the price of the Xbox One console with Kinect to $400 AND it comes with a free game? I would jump at the opportunity! That's a steal, man!

I would agree. If someone can afford to buy one, they can afford to buy the other. The $100 difference shouldn't have any factor in deciding which one to get. In both cases you are getting what you pay for. If you want a PS4, then you consider yourself lucky
to pay $100 less, but without a camera.
