Still not getting notified when people add me as a friend!

When I meet new people and they add me as a friend, I'm not getting any notification of it, then to add them back I need to search my recent players list and view all profiles on that list to see who added me!! And they do not appear in my followers list
at!!! This just started back up again recently and I've exhausted all troubleshooting options and have been waiting and waiting for them to pop or come through as others have suggested with no luck!! This very annoying as I'm getting invites from what appears
to be random people, but it's actually people I've met and it takes time to manually search through all recent players just to add people back and they still don't show up as a follower! The entire new Social App is a complete mess and a massive joke!!! The
number of friends and followers on my info page displays one number and then on the friends and followers page it displays two totally different set of numbers then Xbox.com has another and smartglass has another then I get on my sons console and the numbers
aren't even remotely close to what they should be! This is a service that I pay for to the top software company in the world with the "most powerful" cloud service! What the hell guys? I can assure you that my PS4 has never had any software issues at all!!!
(But to be fair and honest I very rarely use it other than to play Bloodborne.)

No Friend Notifications on xbox LIVE

Hey, me and my friends are experincing a bug where we are not being notified when a friend comes online. We are still getting notifications for messages and we allow all notifications at all times. However, we are not getting a pop-up notification when a
friend come online.

Anyone else experiencing this ?

 

Has the Xbox Live community changed since the original Xbox?

matter of fact, its even easier now that you can follow people even if they don't add you. Getting people to follow you back has been improved with activity center to notify you of a new follower. Up to 1000 friends I believe.

 

And an FYI I've done the following:

-Deleted my profile from console then re-installed it.

-Cleared persistent strorage in blu-ray.

-Cleared alternate MAC address.

-Hard reset countless times.

-Hard reset, then unplugged every single wire coming and going to and from console including router and modem and unplugged all power from outlets.

-Used other consoles to check.

-Restored to factory defaults. (Last resort option)
