    Was playing a game yesterday someone messaged me calling me the N-word. However, in the message he sent, he avoided the auto-ban by saying [mod removed]. I brought this up on the forums that he wasn't banned and was told to just wait. Still, nothing has
    happened as he continues to message me it and taunting that he's basically unbannable. Is this not violating the Code of Conduct??

    Whats the investigation? I've reported him 5 times and it been almost 48 hours.

    It can take longer than that. The enforcement receives thousands of complaints each day and have to investigate each one.

    As long as you reported him, the enforcement team will investigate, but investigations can take time.

    Phonetic variations of that word are still racist and qualify as hate speech. You're lucky your console didn't get banned.

    You don't have to say anything negative, or use profanity. Anything that can be considered taunting, harassment or hate speech will get you a ban as well. About 9 months ago I got banned for sending, "Thank you for not trolling, you played better than
    I thought". I appealed it and requested a review, and was told, "It was a harassing message and considered taunting. Review the ToS". Since then, I don't message anyone who isn't a friend, ever.
