Still not able to download games

Iv done everything to try and get my Xbox to download game but nothing I have tried worked. I tried seeing if the regions was different which it isn't. I've tired deleting it from download history and cache which did not iv done everything I was told to
try but nothing seems to have worked. I can't even download the games with gold or the game I purchased. You should say there download problems with games and not just gamer pictures and themes.

Not able to download M+ games still

Okay, so I wanted to try out the Sniper Elite V2 trial, but I got the message,

"this account is not permitted to download content with this rating"

I'm 17 now, and I thought it was 17+ for these demos.

I've checked my hotmail to check if I am of age on it, and I clearly am. I went to my account to promote it like the forum said, but that option isn't there.

I'm stumped, I have no parental settings because I took them off when I had this problem with the L4D2 demo (at the time it was age though that prevented me).

Alright thanks. I had a feeling that was the reason. guess that little 17+ and older over the M means nothing.

What is your account region

Us foreign bases dont count as the us as you dont have a us internet connection

Physical region must match

Also what is your connection type and speedtest.net results

Speed is important

Lte is too slow and inconsistent for large downloads

Fibre you have to comtsct your isp for configuring your router for gamimg

Region also refers to the country not continent. And usually only the continential part of the country

Some isps also use a vpn whuseich can cause failures

 

Also hardreset your modem and router

 

I have a similar problem downloading fifa 15 to my 360. My internet connection is not very fast, just 2mb/s but all my regional and physical location match. Also ive done what other threads and the support have said.

this is my first purchase from the marketplace so i really need help.

When you say your physical regiom do you mean the same continent ? Or a foreign base or tterritory

Vpns dont work

Your country and account region has to ve the same

Also it is actually best to provide this info

Us territories dont have a us geoip like peurto rico or guam

Vpns are not suggested

And your speedtest.net results and connection type are inportant

And best to make your own thread

You ccan check your regional settings at commerce.microsoft.com

And i can tell you 2mbs isnt fast at all and most likely the rewson why you are failing

You need a broadband connection not a lte connection

You will only time out

 

For large downloads a consistent and fast connection is always recommended

If you are lte connections arent consistent

 

I live in india, and my region is india and so is everything else.

i have downloaded red faction guerilla and the demo for fifa from the same connection overnight.

unfortunately for me, i dont think i can upgrade my connection till next month and even then, only 4 mbps would be possible.

Is there any hope ?

 

I have 7 mbs broadband and never had the problem until recently. Iv download other games before and never had this problem with 5 mbs speed so there is nothing wrong on my end of things its definitely something xbox have to look into if so many people are
having this problem. Im trying to get the new games with gold bio shock and the downloading bar just says o% no matter how long i leave my xbox on for it just wont download.

 

Same here, can't download bioshock infinite, progress bar says always 0%, after a random portion of time downloads ends without any error message. A couple of time there was in the hard disk a corrupted file of about 250Kbytes! Delete corrupted files and
cleaned cache without results. Definitely a problem on xbox live side.

 

Evolution it depends o. The size

If it is a large download then timing out is a problem

Ylif ylou re on lte you need a consist ant speed like actual broadband

Just because you were able to download something else doesnt mean it doesnt apply unless they were similar size

If you are getting nat warnings thats a sign your speed is too low

 

Every troubleshooting step is custom to the original poster since not everyone has the same settings

And you guys never post enough info to help you out

 

I was able to download bioshock and sniper elite myself within 1 hour each over wifi

However my setttingz arent the same as yours
