Still no Halo V Edition Xbox Announcement or pre-order? Why not at E3? Why absolutely no news?

Okay so a little while back Josh Holmes replied to a question on Twitter and said that a Halo Edition console was in the works. Why have we heard nothing about it? I could have bought one by now if that was untrue but I was waiting for them to at least
give us an official announcement.

I can't be the only person that has been waiting for this instead of buying an available console. I wish they could have just given a yes or a no on it. With my only system being a PC I can't even play Arkham Knight right now. While the Xbox and PS4
versions are fine the PC port is terrible.

BTW has anybody heard anything about the Elite controller being bundled with consoles?

I pre-ordered Halo wars 2 Ultimate Edition and I got no 15.000 Points.

WHY?

 

halo 4 specializtions

i bought the special pre ordered halo 4 edition put all my codes in and got no specializations! Xbox sent a code out for a free gift for specializations and i put that in and still no specializations and when i re enter the code it says it has already been
used ! I hope someone has the answer of why it does not work!

 

They are not going to bundle Elite Controllers with consoles, at least not at first. Not everyone wants to pay $150 for a controller. They just announced a Forza Special Edition Console so I would give it a while longer. As big as Halo is for MS I cannot
see them not doing one.

 

I get a special edition is cool but you're buying the console for what it puts on the screen not what it looks like. I would never delay a purchase of a console because one that looks a little different might be out in a few months. And you do realize
that if it gets announced it'll probably come with the game meaning it won't be out till after the summer

I said the same thing before the MCC came out but here I am still without a Halo Edition console....

There was a walmart page that was taken down. It was marked at $499 and called the Xbox One Elite. I was hoping other people might have known if that would have the Elite controller.

 

@pkvas that is 100% fine with me. I would just like an official yes or no. If it isn't going to happen I can go ahead and get an older 500GB. If it is a yes then I can pre-order/hold back and at least know that I am not waiting for nothing.

Yeah and you probably didn't end up buying an xbox 360 right before a special edition xbox was announced.... multiple times. That is what I was trying to avoid especially when I hardly wanted a One for anything but Halo.

Lets see... Other than Halo MCC and Halo V I want FIFA a tiny bit, maybe a UFC game, and Arkham Knight because the PC port that I wasted money on is terrible. That's about it. That is why I am so adamant about this console.

I'm waiting on it too..Well, sort of. I have a day one X1 and I want a new console so I can pack the day one away (incase I or the kid's ever need a spare to fall back on). I came real close to preordering the Forza 6 console, it comes bundled with the Elite
controller at game in the UK, I just really want to see a halo console first before I decide.

 

I wish I was in the UK. GAME has the most awesome deals.

 

I have to admit, there are nearly always good bundles at Game. As soon as the 1TB X1 was announced, Game had some pretty good bundles up.

 

Man do you know how long it took for them to unveil the LE content on my local games website? I mean they had a description, but I like to see it because a limited statue of Chief could be of anything and it just so happens that I think it looks fairly poor.
(Chief and Locke that is).

Anyway I would be surprised is they announced the console a month out from the release of the game.

 

It just seems crazy for them not to do it, especially with them doing the Forza console. Tbh, I'm not interested in the game at all, but if they made a console as nice as the Halo 4 360, I'd jump on it straight away.

 

^Agreed it's silly to wait so late, but I remember I had GoW 3 pre-ordered and fully paid before they showed off the gears 3 console so that was a pain in the butt.

In saying that, if they do a gears console like the 360, I'd be alllll over that!

 

Well yeah, same here probably. I still have the Gears 3 console lol. Tbh, I didn't really think about the possibility of a new gears console.....hmm.
