Still having problems with Xbox One S Blu Ray app not playing 4K Blu Rays

When the discs plays fine in other ultra hd players out on the market and Not on the Xbox one S its not the discs thats the problem its the Xbox one S that has a issue.

 

"Now you see me 2" still does not work for me can anyone confirm if Lucy is now working or not? It sucks we have to do it this way but I don't want to purchase it just to find out it doesn't work.

 

I don't even know how to reach out 20th Century Fox in my country. This is unreal. Engineers looking at the problem for two months and didn't know how to fix it so blame the studios. So sad.

so the issue is the bluray player app in the microsoft store.

it needs to be updated with the latest codecs.

please update the bluray player app.

 

Im dead tired of this replaced the Samsung Uhd player for the Xbox S as a ultra hd player to find out most of my recent Movies dont Even work on it.

 

The problem isn't the studio it's the security codes on the disc that isn't supported by the player which would be the console 3 updates in a week and no fix or solution it isn't our job to try and fix your issue Microsoft. That is up to you to do, your
system which is closed source doesnt support the media that it claims it can fix your stuff and compensate for the suffering of consumers.... 16 hours on the phone 20 emails, 5 1/2 hours in chat and drove 3 hours to try and fix this issue and all you do is
blame others than yourselves sorry you didn't fix the issue I've replaced my Blu Rays 3 separate times so it's no way it's the discs I've replaced my tv 2 times and my Xbox one S twice I've gone through every troubleshooting step now it's up to you update
your console and the Blu Ray player app ive tried them on a 4K BLU RAY PLAYER (that is not your app) and they work and it isn't connected online. So something is wrong internally with all your systems or it's the software on all your systems. I am sick of
this work around. Fix this and compensate.

 

Also having to turn off bd live and clear cache for the new turtles movie just to get it to work after previously watching is absolutely trash faulty software and faulty hardware fix your *** and compensate

 

Also screen tearing with the Blu Rays even though you have green checks next to everything but 50Hz yeah you're right mister Maka it's totally the studios... not Microsofts *** Xbox one S and its software

 

And your tv is 120Hz yup gotta be the studios problem

 

Ok so I just went on the 6th and got the gears of war 4 console bundle plays games perfect go to try to watch a Blu-ray don't work try DVD don't work etc so I trade this console for another brand new gears console bundle first thing I try Blu-ray nope DVD
nope neither work I can't watch any physical media at all Netflix and YouTube work perfect so what the excuse for my issue then ?

 

Can standard bluray be up converted to 4K?
