    STILL having Comcast/Technicolor Issues


    So I thought that after my third ticket with Comcast, that it had been fixed. Was hardly ever getting dropped, but in the past week I basically get kicked from every other game of FIFA 15, and don't even mention COD: AW. What they did, was enable ports for
    port forwarding and it "worked" at first, but still I'm having the issue. I assume from searching online that there still is no fix? Worst part is, is that you can't even set the gateway to an older firmware version, because it's set to auto-update and they
    can't do anything on their end to stop it.... I have the Technicolor Router, through Comcast Xfinity located in Lancaster, PA. I run wireless off of my original Xbox 36o White edition. AND YES, I've deleted profile so many times, cleared the system cache,
    changed my firewall settings, etc.

    Xfinity/Comcast Technicolor TC8305C STILL having disconnecting issues?

    Hello, so I was going through the forums and google aswell and saw A LOT of disconnecting problems with Xbox and the Xfinity Technicolor TC8305C. Well sadly I can say that I TOO am a victim of this. I have been disconnecting for months now and I do not know
    how to solve this problem. I would go into ANY game on my Xbox 360 then get disconnected within 10-20 minutes. This is VERY aggravating. Can anyone help me with this? I have all necessary ports open.

    fixed mine... got rid of my Comcast Technicolor 8305 modem/router and bought my own modem and router... problem solved. Not sure if you have the same modem/gateway... but it appears there are issues with that on comcast and xbox

    Can't Connect To Network

    There is a known issue with the modem Technicolor TC8305C, generally this is caused by the connecting cable. You should contact Comcast support and report this issue.

    Is the reason why many people are randomly disconnecting because of our router model?

    Take a look at this Comcast thread: forums.comcast.com/.../2398585

    This is a known issue with the Technicolor TC8305C Gateways from Xfinity. They pushed out a firmware update that is causing drops. A Comcast CSR recommended to go to a Comcast store and switch out the Gateway for the Arris TG862.
