Still have Strict NAT on Xbox One after trying nearly EVERYTHING

Things you have tried: Port forwarding/Port triggering, DMZ, disabled Port Scan/Dos Protection, opened NAT filtering, disabled SIP ALG, QoS priority, disabled UPnP, changed IPv6 connection types

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Strict

Any Error Codes you encounter: Often get "Can't get a Teredo IP address" accompanied with "Your network is behind a firewall(or not connected)"

Who is your ISP? SuddenLink



I live in an apartment complex and am supplied internet directly by SuddenLink. I have had a persistent Strict NAT that is entirely unwavering even after every attempt I have made. I have tried the fixes listed above multiple times and with several
different variations all with the same effect. A full factory reset of my xbox has not had any effect either. I have communicated with SuddenLink several times who have not provided me with anything helpful other than stating that they do not run a NAT on
their end of the connection meaning that a double NAT should not be possible. When I asked them about the Teredo IP and Teredo Protocols they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. As of right now I am completely out of options and am starting to
lose my mind! Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Need help with my NAT type

I have been trying everything to get my NAT type open but nothing works because no one has the same NAT type as mine:

NAT type: Strict

Your network is behind a port-symmetric NAT

its very frustrating having a strict NAT type so please help

 

Have you tried a direct connection to your Modem? If you haven't try that and rule out the router as the problem. If that doesn't work then either your Xbox is messed up or your ISP is in fact blocking something. The only way to know that is to try and
run your xbox at someones house who has a different ISP

 

My network doesn't have a modem and I have always been told that having one isn't necessary. Once again, I am not the most knowledgeable in this particular field. From what my ISP has told me everything should be fine from their end, but it is also possible
they could be unreliable. Testing it at someone else's house with a different ISP is a good idea though, I'll have to try that out. Unfortunately, majority of people have SuddenLink around here so that may be difficult.
