    Still Don't Have New Edge on Xbox One X


    I'm currently enrolled in the Omega circle of Insiders. The updates have referred to the new Edge multiple times, but I still have the old version of Edge with the Internet Explorer icon. Do the notes just refer to New Edge but it's not out for Omega users? Or do I need to do something in order to update Edge?

    Are you having trouble viewing content in your browser on Xbox One? And are you comparing settings against the new Edge on a PC to Xbox One? I don't believe they have updated Xbox One's browser to the new Edge yet.

    Well, on the Xbox 360 I don't it will have the new Edge, on the Xbox One they probably will wait the official release.

    I'm running a Xbox One X on my 1080p projector and a 1080p TV.

    Both consoles load faster (provided you install on the internal drive or have a fast enough USB 3.0 external drive) than the "standard" Xbox, which is evident in multiplayer sessions, where I am usually one of the first in the lobby, while others with original
    Xbox One or Xbox One S are still loading.

    Also, even if you don't have a 4K TV, the X will still render the game in 4K, and downscale to 1080p, aliasing diagonal edges of objects, giving you a much smoother and clearer looking picture in 1080p.

    So yes, even without a 4K TV you benefit from the power of the Xbox One X

    Xbox one games don't have s /x they are just xbox one games

    You have games that have xbox one x enhanced but that is optional

    They still work with xbox ones

    Series consoles don't have Xbox one in their name they are just xbox series s/x period

    No, there is no new Edge browser for Xbox One yet. There has been no news on if or when there will be a new version of Edge available for the console.
