    I used to play this game eons ago but gave up due to disconnection problems. Started again two days ago, working fine. Purchased a bundle yesterday and today .... cannot connect! Such a shame because it's a great game but this disconnection issue appears
    not to be a priority for Microsoft!

  3. Connection Interrupted STILL !!!

    OK Still going on for about 5 months now. Here is the full scoop.

    Playing COD Black Ops on a wired connection during the match I get "Connection Interrupted" and I am kicked back into the lobby while everyone is still playing in the game. Then it shows migrating hosts at the top and then "Lobby Closed" but I am able to
    get right back into a match and I am not being signed out of Xbox Live.

    This has been happening for 5 months now and I have spent countless hours on the phone with Xbox and Activision and my ISP - no one is able to come up with a solution.

    Here is what I have done so far to trouble shoot this and none have worked...... changed to wireless, replaced modem, replaced router, set NAT to open, assigned static IP to console, along with numerous other things.

    It doesnt seems to happen in zombies or combat training. Last week I was thrilled because it was playing fine and did so for an entire week without being kicked once then it started again yesterday and again today (got kicked every other match)

    Tech support told me they were stumped, activision said they are stumped, my ISP ran numerous tests on my line and all is well. None of my computers lose internet connection when this happens.

    I am positive that it must be the xbox console..... I bought the console in January 2011 and this problem started in March / April time frame so I have been back and forth with tech support since them and now I probably cannot return the console to the place
    where I bought it for a replacement since it has been so long.

    Does ANYONE have any suggestions .????? as I am ready to throw the entire console through the wall right now.

    I have tried everything from changing the password, using the app passwords, deleting the cache and profile and redownloading it. And i still haven't been able to connect. Now after all of that every time i try to download my profile it gives me the error
    code 80151103. Im completely lost at this point.

    Could you verify that you have update the security proofs like phone numbers, alternate email addresses, and security questions and answers to your Microsoft
    account
    . This information is essential to ensure that your account is well protected and meets the security standars that Microsoft now provides.

    With this information being added and updated, let's focus on the next steps: Clear Xbox system cache (3 times in a row) and finally, try download your profile from LIVE. Follow the steps up front.

    Clear Xbox system cache



    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
    2. Select Storage or Memory.
    3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
    4. Select Clear System Cache.
    5. Important: Clear your Xbox system cache 3 times in row.

    Restart your console.

    Download Xbox LIVE profile.

    1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
    2. Select Download Profile.
    3. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
    4. Enter your Microsoft account password.

    Sorry you are having this issue. Looks like you have already done some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue and it has not worked. Typically this error is associated with an issue on your profile not being downloaded properly so below i have attached a
    step process that you can try to fix this issue.

    Solution 1: Verify your Microsoft account security information

    To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

    Visit Microsoft account.

    Note If you forgot your password or can’t sign in by using your password, Reset your password.

    Click Edit security info.

    Verify your security information. For example, verify the Phone number, Alternate email address, and Security question information.

    Sign out of your Microsoft account, and then sign in again.

    Try to sign in to Xbox LIVE again.

    Solution 2: Move and then re-download your Xbox LIVE profile

    Format a spare USB flash drive as a Memory Unit.

    Move your profile to the USB flash drive that you formatted in step 1. To do this, follow these steps:

    Plug the USB flash drive into your console.

    From the Dashboard, go to settings, and then select Storage.

    Select All Devices.

    Select Gamer Profiles, and then select your gamer profile.

    Select Move.

    Select the Memory Unit that you want to move your profile to.

    Remove the USB flash drive or memory unit from your console.

    Re-download your profile.
