Still can't view Voice Messages or join Private Chat

At the end of my tether with this. Last 3 weeks or so, I was enjoying talking to my disabled friend via Private Chat. Except 2 days ago.

Now suddenly, it won't let my view voice messages or join private chat. No error code is given. The exact words are "Can't complete this process. Please try again. For more info, visit www.Xbox.com/support."

I've ensured my NAT is Open. I've put my Xbox in the DMZ, and opened the ports that the support site says.

I've deleted and redownloaded both my profile and my Xbox 360 system update multiple times.

I spoke online with a support agent, who ensured me there's no communication blocks on my account.

There's no privacy settings active that would block V.Messages.

I even made a new profile and tried with that, to no avail. To ensure it wasn't a NAT issue on my fiend's side, I sent my main GT a voice message from an Alt GT ( on the same xbox 360 console and same network) and I can't even view that.

Every potential "fix" for issues like this has been attempted multiple times, and nothing has worked. I'm of the belief that this is an issue with the XBL service on 360, given the sudden nature of the issue, or its a bizarre hardware issue that only affects
voice communication.

Either way, this is killing my sole reason for staying on Xbox. We were even planning on upgrading to Xbox ones in the January. Really having second thoughts now

You're wrong sir, i lost Xbox live Gold but i can still log online as in download from the market, view my friends and join private chats but the only thing i can't do is download gold exclusive stuff, use the apps and play online. I can still receive messages
and friend request.

 

Voice Messages On Xbox One Needs To Be Made Private

Voice messages on Xbox One needs to be made private. Ages ago when I was sending voice messages, I could still hear the party chat. I wondered why. A few minutes ago while I'm in a party chat I could hear a friend of mine sending a voice message. Why
are we hearing the party chats when we're sending voice messages and listening to them? Also why can everyone in a party chat hear what we're saying in a voice message? So much for things being private! We were not even warned about people in a party chat
hearing what we're saying in a voice message. What if we're telling somebody something strictly private? Next thing, everyone in a party chat will know. This is a breech of privacy.

 

Same issue, why is Microsoft ignoring the issue. More than half of my friends list have all reported the same problem. Why is no one fixing or addressing this issue? Is Microsoft trying to get people to abandon their platforms. Because it is working. Failures
at this time of year aren't making me think of Microsoft purchases.

 

OMG I've just posted the same issue and came across your post . I was chatting to live support for over an hour explain this but it was like talking to a brick wall. It seems there aware of the issue so they need to sort it out .

Me and my friend had this happen Wednesday so I contacted support and they said they were updating one of there servers and that was the problem. We tried today and still the same . Live support never even mentioned a server update. They need to sort

do you guys get the error when you try and accept the chat invite? Mine says couldnt accept private chat invite . Plus when I try and voice message to my friend it will send but an error also when he tries to play it. I formatted my hard drive thinking
it was that. I'll be going to PS4 if this ain't sorted soon. Sod the xbox one
