    STILL Can't Get Xbox One Minecraft Discount


    I have Minecraft for Xbox 360 (Arcade) and I'm still not getting the discounted price for Minecraft on Xbox One. I've been checking daily ever since it was released and nothing's changed. I've even uploaded a 360 Minecraft map to the cloud and still, nothing.

    Discounted price for Minecraft isn't there.

    Yesterday I was thinking about buying the Xbox one edition of Minecraft and the 4.99 discount was there. Today I decided that I wanted to get it and now the discount isn't there. I've signed out and in, even deleted and recovered my gamertag and it
    still isn't showing up. I do have the digital version of Minecraft on Xbox 360. Anyone have a solution?

    Was your account the one that originally purchased the game on the 360? You can check past purchases at commerce.microsoft.com. Only the original purchaser can get the game at the discounted price.

    My younger brother was the one to originally purchase the game on his account (Two accounts on the same Xbox). However, he tried to mod his gamerscore and got himself banned so now we have no access to the account that originally purchased it. Is there any
    way for them to trace it back to the original Xbox it was purchased on or am I [Mod Removed] here?

    Sorry to hear it. As per the ToU and CoC of the Live service you lose all access to any items/Gold on your gamertag when it is banned. Also, if your console dies or you is banned from the Live service you will lose access to the 360 version of the game
    as well.

    You bought the 360 versions.The xbox one versions are separate games for a different platform.

    If you own the 360 version of Minecraft you used to be able to get the xbox one version at a discount,don't know if you still do or not.

    The Minecraft discounted price offer is still valid (I believe the discount is permanent for owners of the Xbox 360 edition of the game).

    As for the discounted price for Australian buyers: the price should be about 25% of the original price (75% discount).

    I did not get any offer. I contacted Xbox support via chat. They said "You may contact Mojang for the promotion on minecraft or you may visit majornelson.com for other promotion on Xbox."
