Still Can't Connect Online

After having the game for about a week now I still can't connect online. Every time I load up the game or after the game loads up I still get the ''failed to connect to server'' message 10003x or whatever the code is. Has anybody else been able to connect
to upload Ground Zeroes saves?

Same ***! Server Fehler 10003! Beim Kollegen funktioniert es auf anhieb. Habe Spiel neu installiert und Cache gelöscht, Fehler bleibt.....

I'm having the same problem, still can't connect to the server. Konami says it's a problem on the Xbox side and Xbox says it's a problem on Konami's side. I've restarted the xbox, reinstalled the game and still doesn't work.

 

Bought it on day one still cannot connect yet the MGV official site says the servers are up very frustrating starting to think Mad Max would have been better no wait what am I thinking

 

I feel as if Konami doesn't care.

 

Everytime i try to connect i get that "10003" failed to connect.

 

I sent them a ticket and all they could tell me to do was reset the game which I,m presuming is reinstall tried that nothing what is going on

 

A few days ago I got to the TOS page, but since then it keeps failing to connect. I've almost beaten the game but I feel I've missed a lot without the online FOB metagame.

 

Hey everyone! If you still can't connect to TPP or GZ servers this may help, it worked for me.

I have disc copy of TPP on X1 since launch & haven't been able to connect once. Extremely frustrating! I happened across a post on GameFaq boards, a user had the same issues & a solution. I followed his solution & I connected instantly & was able to get
my GZ save uploaded, got my rewards & first daily bonuses & played TPP for 6 hours, no lag, no disconnects.

Here is my setup & what worked for me. I have Comcast internet with my X1 wired connection directly into the Comcast modem, I have an old Linksys router I purchased @ Walmart back in 2007. I simply hooked the Linksys back up and hooked only my X1 into the
Linksys router via Ethernet cable, turned on TPP & it connected first time & super quick too. The GameFaq's user had the same Comcast modem I do & hooked his old router back up & used wireless connection & it solved his problem as well.

This is the only thing that worked for me after troubleshooting, resetting, reinstalling etc. for almost 2 weeks now.

If you have a router or a different modem lying around its worth a try.

**Note** After hooking up my Linksys & before starting TPP I checked my X1 network & my NAT had changed from open to moderate, I followed a video on youtube how to change NAT to open, it's very simple, I had to do the steps in the video 3 times before my
NAT changed to open again, then I loaded up TPP with no issues. Not sure if NAT matters but I wanted it open. Hope this helps!

 

May I ask why you are using a router with your Comcast modem? I have Comcast and X1 platform too but I don't use a router at all. The Comcast modem is much faster and you may get interference if it's hooked up to a router. All my stuff is hard linked to
my modem too. I bet your internet would be much faster if you didn't have the router connected to your Comcast modem. You should give it a try. I bet after you hook it up that way and do a speed test your speed will change.

NAT or Network Address Translation matters a great deal. It's what allows devices to communicate with each other on or over a network. If you have Strict NAT you are going to have a horrible multiplayer experience. If you have Moderate NAT your experience
will be a little better but still pretty bad. It's always a good idea to have your NAT open for the best possible multiplayer experience .

 

In the UK kinda not got that option to try I did send another ticket to Konami they have finally acknowledged the servers are faulty wether they fix them who knows
