STILL BROKEN-Xbox Game Pass PC-Cant Inistall Metro Exodus Error Code 0x80040154

Hi,

I STILL cannot install Metro Exodus for Windows using Xbox Beta App nor the Microsoft Store. I am STILL getting error code 0x80040154.

I had someone reply to my initial post about this issue who just referred me to the generic troubleshooting guide. I performed the steps including the powrshell commands to reinstall the gaming service. The game still won't install.

Is there anyway to escalate this to a tier 2 at Microsoft support?

Still willing to try something on my end. However, I can install other Xbox Game Pass PC games fine.

I found this
previous article that has the references the code that you have posted. It looks like it has a possible solution in it, if nothing works I try unplugging the xbox for 30 or more seconds then restart. If that doesn't work I would

contact Microsoft directly referencing the error code and see if they can help you on the back end!

Try console companion its in the windows store.

Hi,

The console companion app is already installed. It does not appear to have anything to do with the Xbox Beta App.

Let's see if I can put some screenshots here to help. Please look at the screenshots below.

As I have been saying, this looks like it's a Microsoft issue.

How do I get someone at Microsoft to look at this?

I am stuck in tier1 purgatory.

Its Metro Exodus that is broken. I can download other games from the service. The MS store says "Trouble is on our end."

I have run thru faqs and troubleshooting guides, no difference.

Please escalate.
