Sticky right analog stick

Had my Xbox 1 since launch and now the controller from time to time will constantly point up with out touching the right stick

My question is do I send this back or is the a way to reset it

Right analog stick

my right analog stick on my Xbox one controller drifts up almost all of the time I haven't even had it for a year yet it came with my Xbox one s

The analog sticks; LS = Left Stick, RS = Right Stick.

Id send it back if you have the option asap, any type of this problem or early strafing its fauly hands down,im on my 3rd now,unfortunatly the 2nd had a no returns policy and the left analouge went in 2 weeks,nothing I can do though.So I would get it replaced,good

Your batteries might be going.

I've swapped to rechargeables now but when my batteries were going my car would suddenly lurch to the left off the track on Forza and more recently Lara would whip the bow out, draw an arrow and aim straight up in the sky.

Fresh batteries and all fixed.

It's a controller problem most likely I suggest first getting a brand new control cord ment for Xbox and Opening up your controller and seeing if the wiring is intact or if it's come loose
