Discus and support Sticks Are So Sensitive in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; XBox 360's gamepad's sticks were even more sensitive so that I couldn't control because it was so fast.     XBox 360's gamepad's sticks were even more sensitive so that I couldn't control because it was so fast. There is no issue like that with XBox One's but when you press on right stick sometimes it moves upper side so that you miss pressing on it. PS4's gamepad's
    sticks don't behave like that. Their sticks are solid, when you press on it there is no chance that it can move any direction you didn't intend to. Because it is important to lock-on targets on some games so when you miss that you miss lock-on means you wasted
    time on what would be "important" situation sometimes especially on souls games. So I simply request from Microsoft to make their next generation XBox console's gamepad's sticks at same quality as PS4 in the terms of being "solid." XBox One's gamepad's sticks
    are really so sensitive and when you compare it with PS4's you will see what I mean.

    I didn't feel to post this but I felt it would be actually change things with the new console's gamepad. So I tempted to post this because I want to have a gaming experience without an issue like that. It's really annoying and disappointed to experience.

    Hi Letum,

    If that is the case where it is like drifting it will need to be replaced. Controller sticks occasionally get the drifting effect after hours and hours of use. If this is a brand new controller try power cycle the console off, set controller down so nothing
    being pressed, turn console on then resync controller. Have noticed a couple times if I have button pushed or stick pressed in a direction when power on the console seems to read that.

    This can be an issue with the game as well how it handles the input from the controller sticks.

    I've not personally had an issue, but they are always working on improvements.
    Actually no, it is not about game how it handles the input from the controller sticks. It's an issue with the gamepad's sticks since stick being slipped upwards causing to missing pressing as I have already stated in the op. So you miss pressing, the function
    doesn't work.

    Have you checked in game settings make sure there isn't a sensitivity setting? Have you made sure the controller is up to date? Personally have had no issue with this, on any console.

    It's not about sensitivity that works ingame. What I meant by sensitivity is the stick is just too sensitive to your touches not how it affects your game. Not even XBox 360's gamepad's sticks were about a sensitivity setting ingame. It was because it was
    too sensitive to your touches. That is what the real issue is. That is about manufacturing.(Dunno if it's the correct term).

    Xbox Ideas    . Find an appropriate Idea Drive that is currently "Accepting Suggestions" and put this suggestion there to be reviewed by the right people.

    I've never had any issues with sensitivity either with the stock controller or with the elite controller which I now use, in all fairness I've never had sensitivity issues with my PS4 controller either but it would also be fair to say that as a
    primary PC gamer I'm used to ultra sensitive control methods!
    Dunno man, I'm not a console nerd. I've just had PS1 and stopped to play it like 12 years ago. I've just got PS4 a year ago. So I'm not a veteran with consoles. And I can pretty feel the difference between XBox One and PS4 controllers' sticks. I had to carefully
    press on XBox One's stick to don't miss the lock-on but on PS4 I can do so without even care.
