Stick drift is ruining xbox entirely

Just letting Microsoft know that the quality of the thumbsticks are so bad I need to buy a $200 controller from another company just for a simple function that has been around for years. My dreamcast never even had this problem, why are the controllers so
poorly made all of the sudden? Cut out the evil scam so I can play my expensive Xbox and monitor. I payed so much money and find out its a $200 minimum to have working sticks. I need to add that i bought 4 controllers today and yesterday and all had stick
drift RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX .They all got sent back but I wasted 2 days of life to learn my family is getting scammed.

Xbox One Controller, left stick faulting!!!

I have two controllers BOTH with drift issues. The one left thumb-stick drifts upwards and the other one has a right thumb-stick drift issue that drifts upward.

Like what the heck am I suppose to do. #SMH

Stick Drift

So I spent $150 on an elite controller and within a few months I had terrible stick drift, I didn't buy a warranty because I thought that a $150 controller wouldn't break within the first few months. Terrible quality. Is there a way to fix this without buying
a new controller?

My 360 controller started "drifting" at some point but it was never really concern. As soon as you flicked the stick in another direction that was quickly remedied. This is entirely a different beast.

I think it really depends on what time you are playing and what events you are doing. I normally stick to drifting and that is where I run into most of the jerks. The racing community is a LOT better than the drifting community by far. Also, school is
out for Winter break so there are a lot more kids playing who like the ruin the game for adults.

If your controllers drifting, rather get it replaced if its brand new.

I totally can feel the OP's pain.

I've gone through 3 Xbox One controllers (one being an Elite) with stick drift issues.

The stick drift happened outside of the warranty period - so I was basically SOL.

Good luck to those who bought these at launch and "haven't had any issues with it". It's just a matter of time before you guys experience stick drift.
