Stick Drift but on only 1 game

I only just encountered this stick drift when I was playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 and It keeps happening. I will stop turning with my analogue stick but my character will continue to look round and it makes it hard to aim with as it randomly happens. I
have only ever had this problem on Battlefront 2 and dont know what I can do to fix it. Any help is appreciated.

drift stick on only one profile

Have an issue where a friend is having his character automatically move to the right on his profile. When I log into my profile on his xbox one, I do not have the problem. We've used 2 different controllers, both still have same problem for him, but I
have 0 problems. Why does one profile have this issue and the other does not on the same console and controllers?

Xbox one controller failures

We have 3 X1 controllers drift forward between me and my son, all left stick drift forward. Pretty sure it's from playing games where sprint is assigned to the left stick. The army camo controller only lasted about a month. Strange thing is, my day one 2013
controller is still fine.

Anyway, I use to get through 360 controllers at a similar rate, only difference was the left sticks drifted left on those.

Different games use different controller sensitivity. I know my oldest controller is finally getting some drift but I only notice it on Destiny 2 etc. Maybe time for a new one?

Is this ONLY happening in Borderlands 3, or are other games also having that issue?

Also is the character "stepping sideways" (i.e. the left analogue stick is drifting to the right), or is the character "turning their head" (i.e. the right stick is drifting to the right)?

Hi there!

That's odd that your left stick seems to only drift in the Hitman games . Does the right stick drift as well? I'm assuming that controls the camera and aim.

I recommend opening up the Xbox Accessories app and then go into the Configuration page for your Elite controller. From here scroll over to Left Stick to get into the sensitivity graph. This page will give you a visual representation of the input your controller
is receiving. You can notice from here if your left stick is drifting in general and not just in those games. It's possible that the in game sensitivity settings make it more noticeable then any other games if the stick is in fact drifting after the stick
goes back to it's original position after being pressed.

To compensate you can make a controller configuration profile for the Hitman games and set the left stick to Smooth or Delayed to have some more resistance on how far the controller inputs go. Play around with the slider and choose a setting that best resists
the controller drift. You can set it to Slot 1 or 2 and switch to this profile whenever you play Hitman.
