Stereo Headset Disconnecting Controller Issue!!

i'm encounter this problem whit the stereo headset when plug into my controller after few minutes, the controller tun off, but the light stay on, then i have to turn off the controller by holding the home bottom or remove the battery in order to
resume the game.

note this only happen when i have the stereo headset plug-in. and yes i did the update.

if any one know solution to by pass this issue please post here.

for now my stereo headset is useless. thank you

Day One Controller Faulty?

This disconnection issue is really rather confusing. Clearly many of you have had this fixed either by firmware, replacement console or controller.

I had a replacement console where my Day One controller still disconnected so that went back - the replacement also had issues with discs.

Now I had a standard controller that I used frequently for 5mths with no disconnections. As mentioned, that too has now experienced a disconnection so I am feeling at a loss now. The only thing that has changed with my setup, is I have the Xbox One Stereo Headset, and the standard controller disconnection occurred when the headset was connected. So there's that, or it could be the recent Preview update.

I also did some googling and found this topic with comments on controller disconnections and Stereo Headset crackling and buzzing which I am in the process of getting the Stereo Headset replaced.

Testing done on the Xbox One controller wireless range using all three battery types: Play N' Charge, AA disposable and AA rechargeable. BONUS: Compared to 360 controller wireless range. : xboxone

According to the comments the buzzing sound can indicate wireless interference, which may also be the issue with the controller disconnections.

Yes, I have a wireless router and cordless phone in the same room. Maybe that is doing something, but it still doesn't explain why the standard controller would suddenly start disconnecting, unless having the headset connected makes it more prone to interference?

Really at a loss. PS4 is fine, Stereo Headset was fine on PS4 with no buzzing noises.

 

Headphones causing pads to disconnect

I have two XB1 controllers, both suffer the same issue - both are the model before the built-in jack.

Previously suffered pad disconnections but those have been few and far between for several months with latest updates.

However, upon plugging in my Xbox One Stereo Headset for some late night gaming, it takes about a minute or two before they start buzzing and the controller disconnects. Tried both controllers, even tried mobile earphones plugged into the Stereo adaptor, and get same result.

Both pads and the Stereo headset report that they are upto date when I check.

At a loss for what to do, anyone else having similar issues?

 

Have you tried to resent your controller I have heard of other people with a similar problem. They fixed it by syncing Thierry controllers.

 

Darn auto correct, I mean try to re sync your controller.

 

I have this same problem. Resyncing my controller didn't help. It doesn't happen very often. But when it does, I'm standing in front of an enemy titan.

yes i re-sync my controller couple times. but no luck.

you know if is any way to re-update the controller again?
