Stereo Headset/Controller Battery Life?

Anyone have a feel yet for battery life on the new Stereo Headset which plugs into the controller?

Stereo Headset Disconnecting Controller Issue!!

i'm encounter this problem whit the stereo headset when plug into my controller after few minutes, the controller tun off, but the light stay on, then i have to turn off the controller by holding the home bottom or remove the battery in order to
resume the game.

note this only happen when i have the stereo headset plug-in. and yes i did the update.

if any one know solution to by pass this issue please post here.

for now my stereo headset is useless. thank you

Xbox One - Controller Problems

I will pass on some information given to me this, will mitigate the issue but not completely solve it,
-ensure LOS from controller <-> console
-update your controller's firmware
-use fresh batteries
-don't use the stereo headset adapter
-avoid connecting a headset completely for best results

This is an interesting question. I can imagine it's quite seriously hindered powering those big cups and the controller.

I was thinking of buying the Stereo Headset as it negates the extra cords required for game audio and power via USB but if the Headset drains batteries like nobody's business then that's possibly even worse.

I've been using the atlas turtle beach headset which is wireless to xbox one just like xo4 and xo7. The difference is it comes with a cord you can attatch to use with 360 and PC. It also works with ps4 btw. Anyway I haven't noticed a noticeable battery drain.

Stereo Headset Adapter isn’t working

If your Stereo Headset Adapter isn’t functioning well, check the following:

Have you updated your controller’s software to support the Stereo Headset Adapter?

Make sure your controller has fresh batteries. When the batteries get weak, some controller functions like audio and rumble get turned off to conserve the remaining power.

Make sure your headset adapter is firmly plugged into your controller and that your stereo headset’s 3.5-mm cable is securely plugged into the headset adapter. You will know it’s plugged in properly if you press the mute button and the LED lights up.
If the mute light comes on and you have updated your controller but your headset isn’t working, consult the manual or manufacturer.

Try your Stereo Headset Adapter on another controller if you can. If the adapter works on the second controller, try updating the first controller again. If that fails, the controller will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the Xbox Online
Service Center.
