Stereo Headset and Adapter Issues

same problem here with XO four's must be the adapter, wish Microsoft would acknowledge there is a problem and there working on it so we don't have to return product that probably isn't bad.

 

I too get pop/crackling through the menu through my surround sound setup connected via digital optical cable to the xbox one. I also got the pop/crackling/sound cut outs through the Polk 4 Shots, the X0 4's AND the MS Stereo Headset. I sent my console
off for RMA back in 1st week of March, 3 weeks later I got my console back with a letter stating they couldnt find anything wrong with my console. They obviously never once CALLED ME TO GO OVER MY ISSUE...nor did they probably check out the digital optical
port/stereo headsets. Probably connected through just the hdmi, wasnt getting the problem, and sent it back. SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Im waiting on a advocate team to contact me regarding my refund of my console/extended warranty/digital game purchases/season-passes/dlc
since i've bought this garbage. Shame on MS for not caring enough to actually contact your customer when they had an issue and you couldnt find it. I work as a automobile service writer and how would you feel if you dropped your car off because it was sticking
in gears on the highway and I kept it for 3 weeks and then called you and said you can come pick it up, then when you got there I told you we couldnt find anything wrong with your car and its good to go...then later it sticks in gears on the highway????!!!!
you CALL THE CUSTOMER ON THE ISSUE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DONT EXPERIENCE THE PROBLEM THEY'RE HAVING! DUH! Common business ethics 101.

 

Everyday I'm looking up xbox one news on google and thank god I heard great news that they are rolling out a new controller firmware update I can't wait. I hope to god it fixes the issues with the controller completely.. it's been so frustrating gaming lately
with the controller disconnecting.. now if only they can roll out the update like today! lol

 

My issue is a bit different. The audio becomes garbled or choppy after 10 or so minutes of use. If I unplug the headset and re-plug it clears up for another 10 minutes. I purchased the adapter with the Microsoft Headset but have the same problem with other
headsets. Have not noticed the problem while gaming but while watching Netflix etc.

It is now April and still no update. So this means by the end of April?

 

I am having audio issues as well. I recently just went out and bought a new controller and I'm hoping it'll fix the audio drop outs and constant clicking sound I heard while using the chat adapter. I personally had bought the XO Sevens, but sold those because
of the drop outs of audio and plus it didn't have mic mirroring like I thought it would have.

My set up is basically the kinect is sitting on top of my tv and my xbox is inside my tv stand. I open the glass doors so I have a clear signal to the console. I'm only about 7 to 8 feet from the Xbox itself. I notice the clicking sounds happening all the
time and sometimes the audio just drops out and sometimes my controller just disconnects as well. It's so annoying. I'm playing Wolfenstein at the moment, but it's done it with almost every game I've played. I use only the adapter and use my own set of headphones.
It doesn't matter what type of headphones I use, it's always doing it. I need to try the getting closer to my xbox, but man.... I'm only 8 feet away. I'ts july and after this last update, it's still doing it. When will this be fixed? I want to play Destiny
this September and I'll NEED to be playing on a headset. This is going to just send me through the roof if these issues keep happening.

Things I've tried:

I've turned off my phone (still does it)

My wifi router is 8 feet away sitting on top of my fireplace... don't see how that's affecting it

I've plugged in my controller using the USB cable (used to work, now it doesn't. Still clicks and drops sound)

I'm running out of ideas here

I bought a stereo headset for the xbox one more or less 4 months, always worked perfectly, but since yesterday it just stopped working the phone, no one can hear me ... The audio is perfect I hear the game and the people, but the phone does not pick up my
voice, already tried everything and could not solve, it will be the phone that will be broken or could be some configuration ?? can someone help me ??

 

Mines does not work at all. No sound from the game and no chat. It worked fine for several months. But yesterday it stopped working.
