Stereo headset adapter problem

Hi,

I contacted support few weeks ago because my stereo headset adapter don't work. I send him back and I get a new one, but there was a problem with the delivery, the adapter is damaged, so I contact one more time the support, they told me they will send me another
one FOR FREE in couple weeks.

I'm waiting since more than a month and still nothing, no news.

I would try contacting support again. Since they were the ones that put the order in for you they might be able to tell you the processing status of the adapter. Call 1-800-469-9269 US/Canada.

Thanks for the answer. The problem is, when I contacted the support the first time, I was on the website and there was a "button" for they call me (on cellphone), but now, when I go on the website, the button isn't here, I don't found him, and there's no
way to contact them, just the forum (here) and Twitter, but they didn't answer me on Twitter.

And also I want to say it's the french support I contacted.

We have two of the
Xbox Stereo Headset with Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter, and both sets have worked well with no problems for sometime now. And I have used the
adapter with non-Microsoft headset with no issues. So, given that you say your "3.5 mm cabled headset " works directly connected to the controller, then I regret to say it would seem that the fault lies with the adapter itself and may need to be replace.

Stereo Headset Adapter isn’t working

If your Stereo Headset Adapter isn’t functioning well, check the following:

Have you updated your controller’s software to support the Stereo Headset Adapter?

Make sure your controller has fresh batteries. When the batteries get weak, some controller functions like audio and rumble get turned off to conserve the remaining power.

Make sure your headset adapter is firmly plugged into your controller and that your stereo headset’s 3.5-mm cable is securely plugged into the headset adapter. You will know it’s plugged in properly if you press the mute button and the LED lights up.
If the mute light comes on and you have updated your controller but your headset isn’t working, consult the manual or manufacturer.

Try your Stereo Headset Adapter on another controller if you can. If the adapter works on the second controller, try updating the first controller again. If that fails, the controller will need to be replaced. To order a replacement, go to the Xbox Online
Service Center.
