Stereo headset Adapter Not connecting to my SCUF controller

This is the 3rd Headset Adapter I have bought for my Xbox because the past few have just stopped working. I have tried everything, updating the controller, hard reseting the Xbox One. I even tried connecting it to my other controllers and had the same bad
luck. I just want to get this resolved, so I can continue playing.

New 3.5mm jack controller is pointless!

Old controller required the stereo headset adapter to work with my headset. ( was a friends stereo headset adapter) so I thought i'd buy the new type of controller so as to not also buy the stereo headset adapter.

The new controller differences

3.5mm jack which is pointless

and the bumpers feel slightly different, but that just may be because i'm now used to worn bumpers on my old controller.

Sorry to hear about the headset issue! If you haven't already, try updating your Scuf controller by following this steps here! If
that does not help and the headset still only works with the Xbox One controller, you may want to get in contact with Scuf's Support.

 

Unfortunately since SCUF controllers are modified from stock controllers, there might be nothing you can do to get a headset adapter to work on it. Who knows what changes were made to the internal circuitry that could affect the headset port, possibly even
shorting out any adapters that get plugged into it.

For an issue like this, your best bet might be to contact SCUF and see if they have any ideas.
