Stereo Headset adapter...crackling audio

Just an update on this, I watched tv for 2 hours on the headset. no clicking. it seems to be games only.

 

Same problem here. I swear it's so irritating that I play without audio most of the time now.

 

I have this issue as well... I am experiencing faint crackling pops constantly. Is Microsoft still working in this issue?

 

Same issue as everybody else.. distinct crackling sounds can be heard after a few minutes of playing any game. Unplugging it resolves the issue for 5-10 minutes which gives me hope that it's some kind of glitch that can be fixed but it's been months of this
being a well known issue and still no fix or even an acknowledgement from MS that they're trying to do something about it. Very frustrating. How do they release the adapter with such an obvious flaw? Do they not have a testing department?

 

I just bought a Xbox One Stereo headset and noticed occasionally faint popping or crackling. Was worried that I got a faulty headset, but turns out many people have the same problem according to this forum. Do you guys still have the problem now?
