Stereo Headset adapter...crackling audio

Same here with XO7s plus low volume levels. Turtle Beach have confirmed to me today that this is MS's issue

 

I also have this static popping issue, certainly very obvious when navigating the dashboard. Using the MS Stereo Headset

 

Same here with the official Xbox One Sterero headset and his adaptater . Many cracks and pops .... I hope MS will fix that.

 

I'm getting the same thing! Static noise and my pad also disconnected earlier even though it was still on!!! Strange! Hopefully it can get sorted

 

My controller is losing sync and getting locked up at least once every gaming session. I have been using X12's and my samsung hands free and it happens on both. Is there a better solution than ripping out the battery every time?

 

yes! i too have this problem. when using my polk 4 shot headset i get this anoyin cracking popping sound when playing any game titanfall,bf4, i got these headsets so i can play late without disturbing my family but i cant stand the popping and cracking anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I have the XOFOURS Turtle Beachs and have this problem also! you would think after months of waiting for these headsets to become available they would have tested for these kind of issues but the same goes foe the actual system itself, it just feels RUSHED!!!

I was having the same problem... Even in a Race on Forza 5 the audio cuts at randon moments, some time it cuts several times in a row and then back to normal working for a randon period... I get the MS Xbox One Stereo Headset bundle (Adapter + Headset).
I my case, the only issues was the audio cuts and randon controller freezes, my headset don't produce static, noise or anything like that.

 

Just adding my name to the list of users who get the popping sounds. I just got the headset, grabbed the most recent update, and I get faintly popping crackling sounds while I play games and watch Netflix. I've been very disappointed with MS so far this
new generation. I hope they can update soon because it sounds like a software issue with the adapter and not the headset itself.

this right here. Add me to the list, getting sick of it. Especially since i have a new headset with better audio quality. which just made the clicks more apparent.

 

I cant believe that most people don´t notice the crackling/popping.

There should be a lot more complaining about this.

Maybe thisProblem needs to get attention from the Tech-News befor anzthing will happen.

 

I just had a good chat with support, who said it was a documented issue, i gave them my situation we chatted about having the xbox one on a surge protector which she stated helped. i explained i had it on a 1500va UPS with AVR and PFC, which makes it pretty
much the cleanest most stable power you can get even better then a wall outlet.

She offered a replacement, i expressed i already returned one and had the same issue, And that i was positive it was a firmware flaw or a low level hardware flaw that affected all of the stereo adapters, and how it was solved temporarily by unplugging and
plugging the headset back in.

I also expressed it happened on multiple headsets that all worked fine for hours on other devices such as android and apple devices.

She stated she was passing all the information on to their engineering team who is actively looking into this issue with my contact information. So we will see what comes of this.
