Stereo headphones

Discus and support Stereo headphones in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; my son has just bought new headphones, he has a new controller with a jack connection but the headphones are not working!!!     Stereo headphones


    my son has just bought new headphones, he has a new controller with a jack connection but the headphones are not working!!! He cannot chat in parties or be heard!! He has had no issues in the past. We have checked his settings and everything looks fine
    there. Any suggestions to resolve this issue will be appreciated.

    With the Stereo Headset Adapter for Xbox One, most headphones with a 3.5mm headphone jack will play game audio! Stereo headphones :)

    If I understand your question...

    Q: If you buy the Stereo Adapter, will this allow you to hear sound.

    A: Yes, the stereo adapter will allow you to plug in headphones to hear sound. I omitted the headset that comes with the adapter just in case you already have headphones.

    (The Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter lets you plug a compatible chat or stereo headset into the Xbox One Controller to control your audio experience without taking your hands off the controller.)

    Can't seem to get any sound with a used VGA cable.

    The stereo jack I linked to is the same one that comes with the official VGA cable. The stereo jack is 3.5mm, the same size a typical set of headphones use. If your screen accepts a set of headphones, it will also accept the mini jack.
