    Stereo Headphone Issue


    I have the Xbox One Stereo Headset and when I am playing with friends my sound coming from the left earphone stops working, during this I can only hear out of my right earphone, this issue happened very suddenly and out of nowhere, explanation is that I’m
    talking with friends and bam I can hear only from the right earphone. I would like to know if this is a common issue with the headphones and what possibly could have caused this problem, and if I can fix it myself or if the headset has to be replaced it self.
    Any help is much appreciated and thank you for spending your time help me.

    HITMAN 2016 sound not working. Please help!!!

    There is 3 different options: Surround, Stereo and Headphones

    And I think all of them have the same issue

    Plugging in Headphones to Controller causes controller to disconnect/die

    Hi,

    This morning, while playing Titanfall, I connected my Stereo Headphones to my controller, and my controller died. I then turned on my 2nd controller, connected my Stereo Headphones, and it also died. I swapped out the batteries for fresh ones, can the same
    thing happened.

    Is anyone else having this issue?

    That is a strange issues for sure.

    Let's see if we can figure out what is causing the root of the problem. Can you provide the following info:

    • Does this happen with multiple controllers?
    • Do you see the same results on a friend's console with that headset and controller?
    • Does the same thing happen with another headset on your console?
    • What is the make and model of the headset?
    • Are you using a chat adapter?
    • Is the controller
      fully updated?

    Post back and let us know!

    • Does the same thing happen with another headset on your console?
    • What is the make and model of the headset?
    • Are you using a chat adapter?
    • Is the controller

    If I understand your question...

    Q: If you buy the Stereo Adapter, will this allow you to hear sound.

    A: Yes, the stereo adapter will allow you to plug in headphones to hear sound. I omitted the headset that comes with the adapter just in case you already have headphones.

    (The Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter lets you plug a compatible chat or stereo headset into the Xbox One Controller to control your audio experience without taking your hands off the controller.)

    The adapter will work with many existing headphones, but you can opt to buy the Xbox Headphones (w/Mic) and adapter too
