Stereo Adapter Mic Monitoring Support

I purchased the Turtlebeach XOFOUR headset when it was released assuming it would have Mic Monitoring like pretty much every headphone from the past generation. (Mic Monitoring = hearing your own voice in chat so as to help from shouting and to generally
gauge your voice hah)

I assumed this would be fixed soon but it has not been. I contacted Turtlebeach about this issue and they said that it is simply because the MS Stereo Adapter does not allow for Mic Monitoring. Is there some sort of update coming soon for this functionality?
I have been a loyal customer and have been *** left and right by all these deals for late adopters and even here I bought the headset and adapter and cannot even get it to function as other headsets do.

Please have good news for me because this stuff is ridiculous and pushing me more and more to making my PS4 my primary console instead of my X1.

Stereo Headset Adapter Mic Monitoring

Alright everyone, I need some help. I have the Turtle Beach Sandtrooper Headsets and there is no mic monitoring (hearing yourself through the mic) control on the headset unit itself, so I have to use the mic monitoring volume slider in the settings
tab of xbox one. I like the stereo adapter because it makes the normal volume easy to control, so I use it. But once it is plugged in, the sliders in settings go away and I cannot adjust my mic monitoring on the adapter (or in the settings now that the volume
sliders are gone) so it defaults to "Off" and trying to talk without being able to hear yourself is very difficult. So if anybody else has had this issue or knows a fix PLEASE let me know.

 

Microphone always on mute

Check the side window at the home screen. There are a few settings for the Headset Mic and Mic Monitoring right there. Also what Headset are you using with the Stereo Adapter?

 

Half of us can't even get our mics to work at all with the adapter like me with the astro a40s. Consider yourself lucky
