stereo adapter distorted mic

Discus and support stereo adapter distorted mic in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; i have myself and 2 friends all with different turtle beach headsets and all 3 of us get a distorted mic sound whenever we talk at all above a normal...     stereo adapter distorted mic


    i have myself and 2 friends all with different turtle beach headsets and all 3 of us get a distorted mic sound whenever we talk at all above a normal tone if you raise your voice at all or have the mic directly in front of the mouth its distorts like the
    mic is overpowering, doesnt happen with kinect or the chat mic so it has to be adapter, I also have a lot of crackling?

    Is this an xbox stereo adapter or the default chat headset that comes with the Xbox?

    If its an stereo adapter, please share what mic/headset is being plugged in. Make / Model#.

    Sadly what you want to achieve exactly isn't possible. There is another way around but it means purchasing a "Startech.com 3.5mm 4 pin to 2x 3pin 3.5mm Headset Splitter Adapter - M/F" from amazon, along with a Stereo Headset adapter and another mic. You
    then plug your Krackens into the headphone part of the splitter the seperate mic into the MIC part and then plug that into the Xbox Stereo Headset Adapter.

    Check the side window at the home screen. There are a few settings for the Headset Mic and Mic Monitoring right there. Also what Headset are you using with the Stereo Adapter?

    Make sure the adapter matches the original connector, be it 2 or 3 posts most stereo headsets with a mic utilize 3 connections, so the adapter must too.
