When you try to access the website http://www.mywifiext.net/ to set up your wireless extender, you might receive an error message or be unable to connect to the site. This can occur because

I have never heard of mywifiext before. Is this a new thing?

mywifiext isn't a customary Internet site. It is a neighborhood web deliver used to open the settings (genie or Smart Wizard) of a NETGEAR remote range extender. Your PC must
be either physically associated by Ethernet or remotely associated with your NETGEAR run extender to get to this web address. After that you face any issues so you can call toll free number.

This sounds like the same process for Linksys extenders. It took a few but reading the booklet that came with it helped me...once I set it up though it's good.
